Gather input from parents and youth about their experiences in Keep Connected, and ways it can be improved. Input the data into an online database and receive an immediate report on youth and parents’ experiences.

Use the brief Parent and Youth Feedback surveys to learn more about how parents and youth experienced the program and how they think it has helped their family. Youth and parents complete the survey in less than 10 minutes. All registered Keep Connected users can administer the survey for free.

Use the results to improve the experience in the future, or  to highlight the program’s strengths to funders, future participants, and other stakeholders.

This survey has a three-step process:

Step 1: Decide how you want to collect data.

Option 1: Direct participants to take the survey online. Provide participants with a web link (unique to your site) to take the survey. The Search Institute online survey platform is designed to be user-friendly. The survey can be taken on a computer, tablet, or mobile device. When you choose this option, you will receive an automated report that graphically summarizes the findings shared by your participants.

Note. Previous Keep Connected users have found this option to be easiest! Many have had success in getting quality data and high participation rates by dedicating time in Session 6 or Session 7 to taking the survey. This way facilitators can provide any needed support.

Option 2: Use paper surveys, then enter the data into our online platform.You can download, print, and administer paper versions of the Parent and Youth Feedback surveys and then enter the data into Search Institute’s online platform. When you do this, you will receive an automated report that graphically summarizes the findings shared by your participants.

Option 3: Use paper surveys and analyze the data independently. You can download, print, and administer paper versions of the Parent and Youth Feedback surveys and then analyze the data on your own.

Note. You are encouraged to use a unique link for each Keep Connected workshop series you deliver. This will allow us to provide you with reports for each implementation.
